Art Exhibit: XOXOKTIK by David Casales
David Casales brings his uniquely sustainable art to Betts for August. This exhibit features an Aztec cultural theme, with Xoxoktik meaning “green” in Aztec. Casales seeks to generate environmental literacy on topics of reducing energy usage, consumption habits, and chemicals. The artist avoided the consumption of resources by creating each piece exclusively in the medium of recycled materials. The exhibit will be up throughout August.
