Art Exhibit @ Soule: “Out of Disparity, There Is Hope”

Art Exhibit @ Soule: “Out of Disparity, There Is Hope”

This exhibit of found object collages will be up February 1 – February 27, 2025 on the main floor of the library. Each piece of art by local multi-media artist Richard Baldwin is a vibrant journey through self-expression: every canvas is a window into the artist’s soul. Through the pieces showcased in this exhibit, he transforms emotion into color, revealing a world of hope and light. Pieces in this exhibit can be purchased: prices and payment must be discussed with the artist.

About the artist: Richard Henry Baldwin was born in Syracuse in 1948. He started his art journey at 12 with a box camera and began taking art classes in high school. While serving in the Navy he started dabbling in photography. From 1998-2017 he was a historical tailor, making 18th-century military clothing. Married for over 50 years with 3 adult children, Richard believes he was given a talent and he refuses to listen to negative thoughts and comments.
