Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene in the MakerSpace (Rescheduled!) In-Person
Make a migratory bird for an art project!
Bird-making workshops are where it all comes to life! By taking sewn plush birds and scrap fabric, you'll create a replica for a travelling art exhibit about bird building collisions. Every year, nearly 2 billion birds die in the United States every year after colliding with windows.
Bird-making workshops are great for organizing conversations and learning about bird safety, ecological issues, and sustainability. Not to mention that they are suitable to groups of all ages! It is a wonderful way to engage as a group around a central cause.
