Poetry and Storytelling with Food In-Person

This youth-focused workshop will invite participants to reflect on their connection with food: how it makes them feel, the ways in which it is significant to them, how it connects them with family and culture. Different prompts will then guide participants to write short essays, stories, or poems about their reflections!

Workshop open to young writers age 10-14. Materials provided. All participants will receive a $25 Visa gift card.

Poet Julian Guy will be facilitating this workshop. Julian Guy is a poet, editor, and educator based in Syracuse, NY. His work has been published in various anthologies and literary magazines.
