@ Central: Genealogy Group - Mapping Roots: Using Land Records to Ground Your Family History Online

Calling all genealogy enthusiasts!
Just as autumn trees reveal their roots, genealogical research deepens when we look beneath the surface. Come explore with librarian Kate Kisselstein how land deeds, property surveys, and historic maps can uncover your ancestors' lives, migrations, and community ties. This session will highlight practical resources and strategies, including a spotlight on Sanborn fire insurance maps, to help you ground your family history in place.

Please note: Registration is required to attend.

This session will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10–11 AM Eastern, on Zoom.
