Just as autumn trees reveal their roots, genealogical research deepens when we look beneath the surface. Come explore with librarian Kate Kisselstein how land deeds, property surveys, and historic maps can uncover your ancestors' lives, migrations, and community ties. This session will highlight practical resources and strategies, including a spotlight on Sanborn fire insurance maps, to help you ground your family history in place.
